Develop chip and magnetic card billing systems allow the cost of document production to be allocated to specific users and user rights defined. They also make follow-me printing possible. Restricting authorisation, e.g. for colour printing, and charging users for what they print or copy are effective cost-control measures.
Develop Card Solutions work either with specially issued chip or magnetic cards or with existing cards that merely have been adapted. The universal card readers for cashless transactions, provide exact billing of prints and copies to make complex payment, billing and cost control systems possible. The robust design means they are ideally suited for use in universities, schools or public buildings. The X-print server option makes follow-me printing possible, which allows users to print their documents from any networked printer within the organisation they work in. Card Solutions work with any Develop system from 25 ppm upwards.

How you benefit
- RS 250 chip card system: Two billing formats – prepaid cards or account cards that access the system memory; works with contact or contactless cards.
- RS 350 magnetic card system: With paper account cards, copy and print services are handled by the customer. With plastic cards, transactions are recorded in the system memory and allocated to each user.
- X-Print server: An efficient, platform-independent billing system for all copies, prints, scan-to-mail or scan-to-fax jobs and follow-me printing functionality within a network.
